Suitable for dry or damp hair, simply wrap the hair around the barrel or clamp and roll the hair up and let the air set the curl. The clamp provides complete control to achieve waves, curls, ringlets or just mega volume. With three heat settings, 360° airflow, and a 1.25" barrel, Aircurl™ instantly creates show-stopping shape that radiates confidence. Ionic technology also fights frizz while the ceramic barrel creates long lasting hold. As we say, love is in the air!
Step 1. Start with clean, tangle-free hair. For the best result, we recommend using Aircurl™ on damp hair that is 80-90% dry however Aircurl™ can also be used on dry hair to add shape. The roots of the hair must be dry.
Step 2. The key to long lasting, lush curls is prepping your hair correctly. You want to inject your hair with a heat protectant and contour spray, like our Mermade Mist, which will protect your strands from heat and give your hair extra hold.
Step 3: Divide hair into small, even sections using Grip Clips. The smaller the section, the more defined the curl will be. Plug in Aircurl. Taking the first section, clamp the end, turn on Aircurl and select low, medium or high heat. Twist the handle to roll hair up the vented barrel. Alternatively, you can wrap hair around the barrel and clamp to use like a traditional curler. Vertical wrapping will give more of a spiral curl than horizontal.
Low – low heat 140°F, high speed 25000RPM
Medium - medium heat 200°F, medium speed 16400RPM
High – high heat 240°F, high speed 25000RPM
Step 4. Hold for up to 10 seconds, or until hair is completely dry then turn the machine off. Unwrap the hair and unclamp to release. Repeat each section once to lock in the curl. Repeat with remaining sections.
Step 5: For an effortless looser curl, gently brush or comb through curls. Finish with a few drops of Super Serum to smooth hair and hydrate ends.
