I’m a beauty editor and content creator who, before packing up all of my sunscreen and moving out West to sunny Los Angeles, was a NYC-based magazine editor, serving as the Beauty Director at Women's Health, Cosmopolitan, and Seventeen magazines. I’ve been exploring and covering the beauty, wellness, and entertainment worlds for more than 13 years, but would leave it all if Salt & Straw asked me to become an ice cream flavor developer.

I have been creating content for fashion, beauty, and wellness brands in Los Angeles for over five years—prior to which I worked for 10 years in theatre, film, and animation. As a bold makeup enthusiast, I regularly experiment with colorful eyeshadows, glitter, and DIY nail art. Outside of the beauty world, I’m an avid flea-and-farmers market shopper and dog mom to Pumpkin and Turtle—the dynamic duo of Echo Park.

I am a beauty editor at IPSY with over 10 years of experience in beauty editorial, public relations, and copywriting. Before joining IPSY, I was a copywriter at Bloomingdale’s, working on branding, seasonal campaigns, beauty, fashion accessories, and more. I’m from Brooklyn, NY where I currently live with my husband and our wildly dramatic dog named Lola.

I have been obsessed with all things beauty for as long as I can remember—and lucky for me, it’s been my job for more than six years. After graduating from the University of Missouri with a degree in magazine journalism, I worked as a beauty editor and writer in New York City, covering skincare, makeup, hair, and wellness for Allure, Cosmopolitan, Women's Health, Good Housekeeping, and Seventeen, among other publications. After making the big move West to Los Angeles, I’m still writing, reporting, and loving beauty professionally… only now with a lot more sunshine and green juice.
