Meet IPSY’s Freshman Class

Be Your Own Desire, aka BYOD, made the cut on our list because we share the same motto of celebrating your own unique beauty. It’s a cosmetic brand with a goal to empower individuals to express themselves through high-quality, cruelty-free products. What’s not to love about that? The product we’re obsessing over right now is the BYOD Concealer Brush because its soft synthetic bristles blend your concealer seamlessly without compromising coverage.

2. CHICA BEAUTY

CHICA BEAUTY is like your bubbly bestie who’s proud of who she is and not afraid of color. From best-selling eyeshadow palettes to pigmented AF lippies, this brand provides quality products to help you celebrate beauty in all forms—and we’re obsessed with them for it. Our current obsession is the Fiesta Eyeshadow Palette, an ode to their hometown San Antonio’s vibrant culture and fiesta week.

3. CHULA BEAUTY

This Mexican-American-founded beauty brand comes from a brother-sister duo passionate about makeup and offering the Mexican representation they felt the beauty industry was missing. The brand creates cruelty-free tools to help celebrate Latinos y Latinas cultures, but also every hard-working babe out there. Their Liquid Liner Duo can create some serious wings, thanks to the precise felt tip and waterproof formula.

4. DR. JART+

Remember that Korean skincare brand that took the TikTok world by storm back in 2020 for their innovative color-correcting cream? We’re so excited to have them as part of our team. DR JART+ is high-performance skincare with a playful twist, and deserves an MVP spot on everyone’s beauty shelfie. Our gold medal-worthy product right now is their Ceramidin™ Skin Barrier Moisturizing Cream because it’s supercharged with ceramides, panthenol, and glycerin to help increase the skin’s barrier strength, moisture, and bounce

5. EIGHT SAINTS

The story behind this brand is what really got us hooked: They nailed down eight key ingredients that offer major benefits to the skin and created products around one or more of those ingredients, thus the name EIGHT SAINTS. It’s also run by a small team of four mighty women, which made us love them even more. Their Soulmate Brightening Treatment deserves a winning spot in everyone’s skincare routine for its top-notch hydration and rapid cell turnover skills.

6. EVEREDEN

This brand is made by moms in medicine, so we already know they’re bringing the heat and experience to the skincare game. With decades of combined dermatology experience from the world’s leading institutions, their experts create formulas effective and gentle enough for everyone in your fam (yes, little ones included). Our MVP pick is the SPF50 Premium Mineral Sunscreen because it’s the perfect team player for sunny beach days, thanks to its excellent protective formula.

7. LITHE BEAUTY

Founder Linda Secondi wanted to create a company that’s environmentally responsible, 100% cruelty-free, superior quality, and inclusive. Now, her IG-popular lash brand not only creates a lash extension alternative for everyday wear, but also glam that complements the lashes too. We’re in love with their High Definition Gel Eyeliner because it checks all of the boxes: It’s ultra pigmented, blendable, and comes with a perfectly angled brush.

8. NICOLE MILLER

Founded in 1982, this iconic brand has an emphasis on looking and smelling as luxe as possible with a goal of women always feeling their best. Her scents are specifically crafted to celebrate the essence of each unique person. Our fave right now is the Lueur De La Ville Fragrance for its notes of red berries, guava juice, jasmine, vanilla, and musk amber that’ll get you compliments anywhere you go.

9. THE ORDINARY

This viral brand is new to the IPSY fam and we’re absolutely buzzing about it. THE ORDINARY’s main goal is to create effective treatment products with integrity at a great value. Their famous Multi-Peptide Eye Serum is a water-based formula designed to target common signs of aging. We’re loving it right now as the second step in our skincare routine right after cleansing and before any serums or moisturizers.

10. PINKY B

PINKY B BEAUTY is dedicated to inspiring and uplifting people with positivity, beauty, and love through the power of makeup. Founded in 2018 by Pinky Barrios, the brand provides faux mink lashes and a line of high-quality lipsticks, lip shines, and eyeshadows. The brand’s Dat Gel Eyeliner Tho should be everyone’s makeup routine front-runner because of its dual-ended design that makes any liner look easy to achieve.

11. POLITE SOCIETY

This brand was created by industry icons Jerrod Blandino and Jeremy Johnson (yes, the founders of Too Faced!) as a place to express their rebellious creativity and need to rewrite the rules of clean beauty.  From flawless setting powders to must-have lippies, they've created a line of beauty that celebrates being bold and unapologetically positive. Our fave right now is their Greatest Lashes of All Time Mascara because of its longwearing, mega-volumizing formula that is sure to get you compliments left and right.
