Behind the December 2023 Glam Bag Design
‘Tis the season to go big or go home, so we pulled off a major beauty feat with December’s holiday-themed Glam Bag design. “I wanted this December Glam Bag to be a holiday makeup bag and also a party bag to add a little shimmer to your seasonal wardrobe,” says Wong.
The December Glam Bags are made up of three different fabrics, and topped off with an ornament-inspired gold ball zipper pull. The pink soft faux leather back is embossed with a metallic IPSY logo, and on the front there’s a split panel of magenta pink glitter and holiday green glitter fabrics. “If you look closer at the glitter fabric, both also have red and blue colors in them to make the glitter extra shine,” says Wong.
And before you freak out at the mention of glitter—we completely understand the glitter anxiety, and we did everything in our power to ensure you weren’t left a huge sparkly mess any time you reached for your Glam Bag. “I know some glitters come off easily and are hard to remove from your clothes, skin, and hair, so we spent extra time and extra rounds of samples to make sure we found the right glitter fabric to use on the bag,” says Wong “I’m very happy with the improved glitter quality.”
