We can’t believe it—today is our first birthday! Our first year has been full of amazing product launches, exciting collaborations, and memories with our Freshies! The OG Superstars
We launched one year ago with a small line of clean, vegan superstar essentials–and Freshies fell in love immediately! Our very first products were Pearly Body Wash, Luscious Hand Cream, Velvety Body Cream, Luxe 5-Blade Razor, Pillowy Shave Cream, and Cleansing Face Wipes. The idea? Essentials, but make ‘em extra! This was a great start at jazzing up your bathroom, but it was justttt the beginning.
Breezy Deo Joins the Crew
Our next big moment was the launch of Breezy Deodorant back in March. Natural deodorant is one of the most important clean swaps you can make (more about that here) so we knew it was essential for Refreshments. Ours banishes B.O. for a full 24 hours, and does so without ANY baking soda or aluminum! And your pits were never the same. :)
Three Cheers for Sustainability!
April is Earth Month, which is a big deal to us over at Refreshments. Since we launched, we pledged to use at least 30% post-consumer recycled packaging in our products, and that’s just the beginning!
The Razor, Reimagined
Freshies wanted an even more amazing razor, and we delivered! Over the summer, we launched our 2.0 design: the patent-pending Dazzling 5-Blade Razor. It goes where no razor has gone before, with an upside-down magnetic hanger so blades drip dry perfectly, and a curved handle that lets blades float above the surface to stay clean. We couldn’t have dreamt it up without our Freshies!
On the Road with Refreshments
In the fall, we hit the road for our first-ever events in Austin and New York City! We joined our sis, IPSY, and tons of other brands to hand out goodie bags and spread the word about our membership! We met tons of Freshies IRL and hosted some amazing giveaways–including a trip to Miami!
Freshie Followers Going UP
On social, we saw some BIG numbers for a small brand like us like our very first year! We grew fast and furious, and celebrated a few major milestones–like 200k on Tik Tok in September and 40k on Instagram in October! If you’re not following us, start NOW. We promise, it’s a party.
Our First Holiday Szn
Last year, we didn’t get to do the holidays up–but we’re more than making up for it this season! In November we launched our first-ever holiday collection and the deals are JUICY.
