February has a certain softness to it. It’s the month that invites you to slow down, romanticize your routines, and treat yourself like someone you’re wildly in love with, because, hello, you are. This month’s Glam Bag design captures that exact energy: indulgent without being loud, sweet without being precious, and designed to make even the smallest beauty ritual feel special. Think blush-pink faux croc, a glint of gold, and the kind of makeup bag you instinctively reach for when you want your day to feel just a little more intentional.
Missed January’s icy reset moment? Catch up on the January Glam Bag reveal here.

It's about glam time you treated yourself.
Joanne Wong is the Senior Designer of Fashion and Accessories at IPSY. She has been designing fashion handbags, accessories, and beauty packaging for more than 10 years for brands like Sephora, Nordstrom, Adventures by Disney, and more.

“Romantic. Rosy. Luxurious.” That’s how IPSY designer Joanne Wong describes February’s Glam Bag, and honestly, it tracks. “This bag was meant to feel like a little love note to yourself,” says Wong. “Soft, sweet, and pampering. Every detail was chosen to spark a treat-yourself moment.”
The first thing you’ll notice is the texture. The faux-croc embossing brings a high-end-level edge, while the soft pink shade keeps everything grounded in warmth and tenderness. “Croc has this high-fashion energy,” Wong explains, “and translating it into pink creates such a beautiful contrast—bold texture meets gentle color.”
And that color? It’s not just pretty, it’s intentional. “Soft pink is the color of tenderness,” she says. “It’s a quiet reminder to be gentle with yourself. Like a hug in bag form.”

Then there’s the zipper charm, aka the pièce de résistance. A gold heart that feels more like jewelry than hardware. It’s the kind of detail that makes you pause mid-zip just to admire it. “I wanted it to feel like a keepsake,” Wong adds. “The heart symbolizes self-love, and the gold tone adds that elevated, special touch.”
Textures played a huge role in bringing the design to life. From testing different embossing patterns to fine-tuning the exact pink hue, the goal was always the same: quiet luxury. “We wanted it to feel rich, but still tender,” Wong explains. “The final finish has this subtle gloss that catches the light beautifully.”
And yes (if you’re wondering), this bag definitely has a love language. “Acts of Service,” says Wong without hesitation. “It’s designed to take care of you. It organizes your beauty essentials, travels well, and elevates your everyday routine. It exists to support your self-care rituals.”

Date night mini clutch? Absolutely. Vanity staple that makes your makeup lineup look instantly more put-together? Yes. A little reminder on your dresser that loving yourself isn’t optional? Also yes.
“My favorite part was adding the heart charm,” Wong says. “It felt like sending every Ipster a mini note that says, ‘Love starts here.’” And honestly? That’s the whole vibe of February. Soft, intentional, and just indulgent enough to feel like a gift—because it is.
