When we first saw this month’s design, we couldn’t help but smile. It’s bold, it’s vibrant, and it’s the perfect way to kick off spring. "I wanted to capture the liveliness and energy of strawberries, but in a more modern, elevated way," says Wong of her March Glam Bag design.

Instead of opting for a literal strawberry print, Wong chose to focus on the color and texture of the fruit. The bag features bold pink faux-straw fabric, reminiscent of a strawberry’s juicy exterior. The green zipper tape reflects the strawberry’s leafy top, while the light pink lining is a nod to the sweet, soft inside of the berry. To elevate the bag further, a mini strawberry charm puller adds the perfect touch of whimsy with its detailed texture that mirrors strawberry seeds. "It’s so cute! I love how it turned out, and I can see it doubling as a fun necklace or earring," Wong shares.

The faux straw fabric wasn’t chosen on a whim, either. “I saw that non-leather, woven materials were trending for spring and summer, so I thought it would be the perfect time to experiment with a fresh texture for our Glam Bag,” Wong explains. And after much searching for the right weight and thickness, the result is a soft, lightweight makeup bag that’s perfect for all your spring essentials.

This month’s Glam Bag design isn’t just about a fresh new look—it’s about a fresh new fabric and a new way of looking at the world. "Using the faux straw fabric gives the bag a completely new feel," says Wong. “It’s a departure from the more traditional materials we’ve used in past Glam Bags, and it really brings a sense of renewal and energy.”
