The goal? To inspire our followers to express their unique beauty. And month after month, we’re blown away when the roles are reversed and you inspire us just as much. Your monthly nail art looks inspired by our Glam Bag designs take our original concepts to the next level (and beyond).

Our 2022 Glam Bag designs, created by designer Joanne Wong, are some of our favorites (we've even repurposed them into mini emergency kits, purse organizers, and clothing), and we love your nail looks just as much. January 2022: Happy Vibes

January’s colorful Glam Bags were designed to help you manifest your best year—whether that meant spending more time doing the things that make you happy or setting goals to turn your wildest dreams into reality. “There are a lot of beautiful things and people around us that can brighten our days and make us smile,” says Wong of her design. “I wanted to design a bag that will remind people to look up to the sky and the people around you.” The spot-on nail art design, created by @rainy_day_beauty, gives us that same happy vibe.

February 2022: Full Hearts

What February lacks in length, it makes up for in reasons to fall in love—from celebrating the joy and creativity surrounding Black History Month to the romance and rose-colored hues of Valentine’s Day. February 2020’s theme, Full Hearts, was your invitation to feel alllll the feels. “I love the creativity in beauty this time of year—bright red lipsticks, flirty pink eyeshadows, and heart-adorned nails—so the idea was to create a bag that was both inspired by and inspiration for your makeup creations,” says Wong. Manicurist @iramshelton nailed the assignment (literally) with her minimal, bag-inspired design.

March 2022: Power Moves

Emblazoned with March 2020’s theme “Power Moves,” the bags were designed to be a reminder of the power we hold to positively impact our communities and the world. And with International Women’s Day in the month, these messages were more important than ever. “I love how the sporty look complements streetwear,” says Wong. “Wear it with your favorite graphic t-shirt, tracksuits, bold sneakers, or oversized styles.” Or with a graphic and bold nail art look like this one from creator Hannah Lee. April 2022: Keep Growing

In April 2022, we looked on the bright side by making the most of all things spring—from nourishing your self-care rituals to planting big ideas and finding ways to make your routines a little greener. Our theme, Keep Growing, wasn’t just an homage to the super cute daisy Glam Bags (made with recycled fabric!), it was a way of saying that being a work in progress is something to be proud of. We were equally as proud of—and inspired by—the daisy nail design from beauty creator @sarahjeangirl.

May 2022: Wild Beauty

This month’s Glam Bag designs were bursting at the seams with blooms and made to let your imagination run wild. Whether it’s a fresh bouquet on your table or botanical formulas that bring your inner glow to the outside, we wanted you to create an environment that inspired—with your all-new Glam Bag by your side. Nail artist @nailartbyqueenie created the ultimate inspo with her intricate floral nail design (keep scrolling to see how she painted the look).

June 2022: Show Your Colors

This June, we challenged you to give those overused neutrals a chance to chill and reach for something a little bolder. The theme, Show Your Colors, was an invitation to share your creativity with the world, authentically and unapologetically. According to Wong, June’s Glam Bags were inspired by the joy that comes from self-expression, unique beauty, and celebrating our differences. “We also want the colorful bags to spark ideas for playing with makeup and nail art,” adds Wong. July 2022: Soak It All In

Beachy waves, punchy manis, glossy lips—summer arrived alongside July’s designs and theme, Soak It All In. Whether you’re on the coast or poolside, the month’s Glam Bag designs were made for fun in the sun. “The teal, blue, and yellow were inspired by the beach, ocean, and summer fruits,” says Wong. This nautical ombré look from nail artist @sicknails69 gives us the same summer energy. Check out her how-to below.

August 2022: Hotel Paradise

Warm breezes, lush landscapes, major glow. This past August, we hope you checked in to a vacay state of mind with our theme Hotel Paradise. Say hello to massages and matching mani-pedis, then unwind, and go ahead, order that room service (or delivery takeout if you’re planning a staycation). “We wanted the glamorous and refreshing bags to activate your summer vacation mode,” says Wong. September 2022: You Got This!

By September, it had been nine long months since we looked inward as we set our 2022 resolutions. So we wanted to check in because sometimes, you just need a reminder. Our September 2022 theme, You Got This!, was there to do just that. “[September] is a good time to reset your routine, so we wanted to design a bag with a mood-boosting color and a motivational quote to kick off the season,” explains Wong. The lavender, adorned nail look (created by Lila Robles of Nail Jerks) from our Glam Bag X shoot with Becky G was a major mood-boost. Check out some BTS from our GBX shoot below.

October 2022: Haul-oween

Our October theme, Haul-oween, conjured up everything you needed for frightfully flawless skin and ghoulishly glam looks, all in a bewitching bag design you voted for! After showing you five different themes on social media at the beginning of the year, you voted for these witchy vibes. Then, nail artist @bycheznails turned it into a nail art look. Here’s how she painted this print. “I love the witchy vibe theme print,” says Wong. “It has all the fun things that you will see around the Halloween season.”

November 2022: Cozy Up! Creature Comforts
